Born and raised in the Northwest Territories, Merle Robillard launched his photojournalism career when he became photo editor of Northern Canada’s largest newspaper chain. Five years later, he decided to tackle southern Canada. In 2004, Merle was a staff photographer at the Chatham Daily News where he won two Ontario Newspaper Awards. Merle's photographs appear regularly in newspapers and magazines across Canada: He works for numerous corporate clients and is also a part-time associate photo editor at the National Post. |
